What are some good kid friendly vegan recipes?

My sister in law wants her and her children to eat healthier and I was wondering what would be some good vegan recipes for young kids around the age of 5. They are use to eating mcdonald's and things like that. I am vegan but I was hoping someone would have some very kid friendly dishes.

Is it normal to be hungry all the time im on my diet?

Okay so i started a new diet i've been on it for like four days, its an all organic diet with vegan, vegetarian recipes and all lean meat and salmon no preservatives, soda, sugar, lots of protein I tend to workout alot more than usual and i feel hungry all the time i'm trying to loose like 5 pounds and im planning to use this as a life style... all organic food and lean meats and protein.. but if im still hungry all the time should i continue eating or to satisfy it? or not..? I use to never be hungry before i started the diet now im like hungry all the time! lol

I've had edema (swelling) in hands and feet after spinal surgery. Any idea why and is it a concern?

WE called the doctor after disc surgery I believe they said L5 S1 was the issue. The seem concerned about the edema but beyond telling me ti drink more (I have, no change) they just say they'll see me Monday. Mu husband is hysterical and ready to take me to the ER. Anything I can say to calm him down or is he right to be so concerned. I'm a 50 y/o healthy female except for the degenerative disc issues
