I have a question for you vegans out there?
Simply, no. A baby drinking its mother's milk is perfectly natural, as is a calf drinking from its mother. But would you think it was natural if you saw a deer suckling from a lion, a cat from a rabbit, a dog from a goat, a hedgehog from a dolphin? It is unnatural to tke the milk of another animal. Also, many vegans are vegan because of the treatment of the animals, because they think its unnatural or unkind, rather than because they think it is cannibalistic. You could argue that all animals that eat meat are cannibalistic then, but i think it is easier to say that we are intelligent and progressed enough to realize the impact of eating meat and animal products: pain and suffering, and to change the way we eat to choose life and compassion over death and pain, but still remain healthy and well. We are lucky enough to have those options, and we have a responsibility to care for the other creatures on this planet, not manipulate and take advantage of them by killing them and keeping them in horrible conditions. But do not take this the wrong way either, just as you said that you weren't saying veganism is bad, i am simply stating my own view on the matter, i mean no offense to meat-eaters: i realize that not everyone sees animals in the same way as i do. I hope this answers your question!
